The Bluegrass Pickin' Porch at Providence Porchfest

Four local bluegrass bands -- Sal Nation Bluegrass Band, Ocean State Ramblers, Wide Open Spaces and Hope Valley Volunteers -- will perform as part of the 2025 Providence Porchfest, an afternoon of music and community on neighborhood porches (or driveways or lawns) from more than 130 artists at over 80 locations around the East Side. It’s free to attend thanks to the support of musicians and hosts.

The Bluegrass Pickin' Porch at 154 Lancaster Street is hosted by the Rhode Island Bluegrass Alliance (RIBA). Here's the band schedule: 12:00 - Sal Nation Bluegrass Band 1:30 - Ocean State Ramblers 3:00 - Wide Open Spaces 4:30 - Hope Valley Volunteers
